During the early days of the COVID-19 shutdowns, she launched a collection of\u00a0curated optical-related items that Dunphy has hand-selected for her audience.<\/p>\n<p>Dunphy also wanted to make the items more personal and custom, so she began designing her own optical gear that individuals in the industry would buy for themselves. &#8220;I always have everyone in the eye industry in mind from the administration to scribes, technicians, opticians and doctors,&#8221; she says.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-60155\" src=\"https:\/\/womeninoptometry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/opticiannow2023.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"602\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.womeninoptometry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/opticiannow2023.jpg 602w, https:\/\/staging.womeninoptometry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/opticiannow2023-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/staging.womeninoptometry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/opticiannow2023-324x160.jpg 324w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 602px) 100vw, 602px\" \/><\/p>\n<div>Today, her new shop features 9 simple designs that she created. &#8220;While some are colorful, and others more classic, I kept the designs simple and mostly spectacle-prominent,&#8221; Dunphy says. The stand-out, best-selling design is the adorable puppy wearing sunglasses,\u00a0 which was commissioned by <a href=\"https:\/\/womeninoptometry.com\/newsmakers\/article\/the-octician-by-jessica-curnew\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Jessica Curnew<\/strong>, The
